ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର, ୧୦/୪ :  – ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗର ଉପରେ ଏକ ନୂଆ ଲଘୁଚାପ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଉତ୍ତର ଅଭିମୁଖରେ ଗତି କରୁଛି। ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ ରିପୋର୍ଟ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ଏହି ଲଘୁଚାପ ପରେ ଦିଗ ବଦଳାଇ ଉତ୍ତର-ଉତ୍ତର-ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗରେ ଗତି କରିବା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ଅଛି। ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏହା କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ପରିଣତି ନେବ ବୋଲି ଅନୁମାନ।

ବେଳେବେଳେ ରୂଦ୍ର ରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରୁଥିବା ଚଳିତ ବସନ୍ତ ଋତୁରେ, ଏବେ ବି ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଗୋଟିଏ ପକ୍ଷେ ତାପ ତେଜିଛି, ଅନ୍ୟପକ୍ଷେ ବେଳେ ବେଳେ ଝଡ଼ ବର୍ଷା ବି ଦେଖାଦେଉଛି। ଗତ ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ରାୟଗଡ଼ାରେ କାଳବୈଶାଖୀ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ୧୭.୪ ମି.ମି. ବର୍ଷା ହୋଇଛି, ଯାହା ସହିତ ଛତ୍ରପୁର, ପୁରୀ ଓ ମାଲକାନଗିରି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ହାଲୁକା ବର୍ଷା ରେକର୍ଡ କରାଯାଇଛି।

ତାପମାତ୍ରା ଦିଗରେ ଦେଖିଲେ, ବୌଦ୍ଧ ଜିଲା ୪୨ ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ଛୁଇଁଥିବା ବେଳେ, ଟିଟିଲାଗଡ଼ ଓ ମାଲକାନଗିରି ୩୯ ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ତାପ ଅନୁଭବ କରୁଛି। ବଲାଙ୍ଗିର ୩୯.୮, ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ୩୫.୧ ଓ କଟକ ୩୪.୮ ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ତାପମାତ୍ରା ସହିତ ଅପେକ୍ଷାକୃତ ଶୀତଳ ଅନୁଭବ କରୁଛି।

ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗର ପୂର୍ବାନୁମାନ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ଆସନ୍ତା ୪-୫ ଦିନ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ତାପମାତ୍ରାରେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ହେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା କମ୍, ହେଲେ ଝାରସୁଗୁଡ଼ା, ବଲାଙ୍ଗିର ଓ ବୌଦ୍ଧ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଏହି ତାପ ୪୦ ଡିଗ୍ରୀକୁ ଛୁଇପାରେ।

ପ୍ରବଳ ବିଜୁଳି ଘଡ଼ଘଡ଼ି, ଝଡ଼ ଓ ବର୍ଷା ସହ କାଳବୈଶାଖୀ ପାଇଁ ଆଗାମୀ ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର, ଭଦ୍ରକ, କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା, କଟକ, ପୁରୀ, ଓ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ସହ ଅନେକ ଜିଲାକୁ ସତର୍କ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ବିଶେଷକରି କୋରାପୁଟ, ମାଲକାନଗିରି, ରାୟଗଡ଼ା, ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର, କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି ଓ କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଜିଲାକୁ ଯୁକ୍ତ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ନେବା ପାଇଁ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି।

A low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is currently moving northwards and is expected to shift towards the north-northeast direction soon, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). This system may weaken over the central Bay within the next 24 hours.

Odisha weather update indicates mixed conditions — while Kalbaisakhi storms brought 17.4 mm rainfall in Rayagada, light rain was also recorded in Chhatrapur, Puri, and Malkangiri. However, rising temperatures continue to concern several districts.

Heatwave in Odisha is intensifying, with Boudh touching 42°C, while Titilagarh and Malkangiri reported 39°C. Balangir (39.8°C), Bhubaneswar (35.1°C), and Cuttack (34.8°C) also remained hot but relatively moderate.

The IMD forecasts no major change in maximum temperature for the next 4–5 days, although regions like Balangir, Boudh, and Jharsuguda may see it hover around 40°C or more.

A Kalbaisakhi alert has been issued for the next 24 hours in parts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Puri, Ganjam, and nearby districts, with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds expected.

Special weather warnings are in effect for Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal, urging precautionary measures.
