ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଅଧିକ କରି ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଆଗକୁ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ୍ ପରିଚାଳନା, ସାଇବର ଅପରାଧ ଓ ମାଓ ଅନ୍ଦୋଳନ ଦମନ ପାଇଁ ବୈଜ୍ଞାନିକ ଓ ଗଂଭୀର ଧାରଣା ସହ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମାଓ ସମସ୍ୟା କେବଳ ୧୦ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ସୀମିତ ରହିଛି ବୋଲି ସେ ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି।

In a significant step to strengthen law and order in Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced the recruitment of nearly 12,000 police personnel across various departments. The decision came after a high-level meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi.
As part of the Odisha police recruitment drive 2025, the state will fill vacancies in multiple divisions including:
Odisha Special Striking Force (OSSF): 3,003 posts
Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF): 3,000 posts
Traffic Police: 2,000 posts
Home Guards: 5,000 posts
Prosecution Cadre: 267 posts
Forensics: 254 posts
CM Majhi emphasized that the move will not only enhance law enforcement capacity in Odisha but also address the increasing need for personnel in tackling cybercrime, traffic management, and left-wing extremism. He highlighted that Maoist activity has now been contained to just 10 districts, indicating improved security conditions.
This large-scale recruitment is also seen as a major employment opportunity for Odisha youth, creating pathways in police and law-related government jobs.
